The Lions' Hearing Scheme
Those with hearing difficulties are provided
with and encouraged to use
The Lions Hearing Scheme Cards.
The cards are credit card sized and carry the
following information
and advice for persons dealing with the hearing impaired:
I am Hearing impaired, when speaking to me;
Speak in a quiet area.
Face me when speaking.
Speak slowly and clearly.
Exercise patience.
Do not shout.
Use gestures and write down important facts.
